HAMMER Stahl-Manufaktur e. K. is a handicraft business in the metal industry with a strong commitment to consistent maximum performance. Our customers profit from our expert advice and innovative approaches. We are continuously striving to combine new technical developments with our handicraft. Our approaches are worked out individually and always relate to the respective projects. All work processes from planning to construction and realization are delivered under one roof. Thanks to our comprehensive company-owned machinery we are able to fulfill our customers’ wishes as flexible and independent as possible. Furthermore, we support handicraft colleagues with construction drawings as well as helix, rolling, bending and milling services.

In August 1994 the business was founded under the name Thomas Hammer Stahlverarbeitung. At the beginning the products were manufactured in a garage. Exactly one year later, in August 1995, the business moved to a production hall with 250 sqm. Almost 8 years later, in April 2003, the company moved into premises with extensive exhibition and office space.

Since our foundation the construction drawings for our customers and our workshop have been created using CAD technology. Since 2008 we are designing three-dimensionally and therefore can provide our customers with a spatial vision of their finished product.

During the first years we focused on manufacturing banisters, roofings and gates out of stainless steel. Soon afterwards, we additionally specialized in the construction of staircases.

Most of our customers are private house builders, but we also cooperate with project planners and architects and supply industrial enterprises.

Since 1996 we have been working with company-owned high-performance and modern machinery, which considerably expanded our productive facilities.

Highlights of our work are the 32 x 14 meter glass roof at the DFB (German Football Federation) in Frankfurt, which we manufactured and assembled in 2002, as well as the production and assembly of two glass roofs made of 34 tons of steel for a large industrial enterprise.

In 2005 the „Hammer-Flieger“, a huge bench in the form of an airplane made out of stainless steel, was completed. It can be found in the Bahnhofstrasse in Sinsheim, directly at the Elsenz river and invites pedestrians to have a rest.

The parent materials we mainly use are steel and stainless steel in different qualities, but we are also familiar with processing brass. These parent materials are combined with wood, glass or natural stone.
